Began to play the drums at 16 years old, after 2 years of classical guitar.Within a very short time he was playing concerts with various musicians of diverse styles (Jazz,Rock,Samba,Salsa, etc).

After 8 years of performing, which included many TV and broadcast shows, he decided to go to Hollywood (California, USA) to obtain a degree at the prestigious " Musician's Institute ".

After graduating in 1985 and returning to his professional carrier, he played in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, USA and Canada at numerous clubs and festivals : Detroit Jazz Festival- Atlanta Jazz Festival- Adam's Morgan Day Washington- University of North Carolina - Los Angeles Jazz Festival- Swiss Inst.-Knitting Factory-le Pop's jazz New York's jazz clubs- l'Air du Temps- le Clarendon- Festival Int. de jazz de Montreal in Canada-Festival Int. de Cascais in Portugal- Festival Int.de Gaumes- Notte del Jazz in Rimini as well as different concerts in Germany, Spain (Barcelona and Madrid) and in France, etc....

Presently, he teaches in a music school and is the founder of several groups.

Performing credits include : Bob Berg, Woody Shaw, Bruce Forman, Freddie Hubbard, Brian Auger, Bill Heid, Sal Nistico, Reggie Johnson, Jimmy Woode, Harold Danko, John Stubblefield, David Kikoski, Essiet-Essiet, Brian Bromberg, Larry Coryell, Jeff Richman, Ron Jackson, Bryan Lynch, James Zollar, David Douglas, Liz Mc Comb, Robin Kenyatta, Edgard Wilson, Oscar Rodriguez,François Lindemann, François Magnin, Moncef Genoud, Raymond Court, Denis Alber, Valérie Lou, la Fête à Bühler, Thierry Romanens, Pascal Rinaldi, Florence Chitacumbi etc.... Has opened for several world wide famous artists such as: Mingus Dinasty, Wynton and Brandford Marsalis, Eddie Gomez, Steve Gadd and Ray Charles.

His recording credits include over 40 CDs and numerous radio and movie pictures dates.
